The annual Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) Pinning Ceremony commenced on Saturday, May 16 in Performance Hall in the Newman University De Mattias Fine Arts Center. The ceremony honored the completion of coursework and the beginning of two professional internships for students in the program. Upon completion of the internships, students will receive their degrees in December 2015.

Family of the students pinned the OTA buttons to their loved ones. Tears of joy ran down the cheeks of some of those family members as the buttons were placed during this highly emotional ceremony.
