A mascot committee is working to gather updated feedback from the Newman community regarding thoughts on an official mascot for Newman.A similar survey was conducted a couple of years ago. A survey asking for opinions will be distributed next week on behalf of the mascot committee, which is being led by Dance and Cheer Coach Zach Schuman. A link to the survey will be in next week’s edition of Up to the Minute. The committee is hopeful that a mascot can be introduced to Newman in the spring semester.
