During the weekend of June 10-12, alumni and the Newman University community are invited to the All-Alumni Reunion, a weekend filled with special events including what will be a monumental time in the history of Newman University – the groundbreaking for the Bishop Gerber Science Center.

Those participating in the weekend-long festivities will enjoy a unique selection of events and programs including special tours and engaging talks from current and former Newman University faculty. With events like the 5-K run, beer tasting, art galleries, and dancing, there are plenty of events for every interest. A favorite event is sure to be “Secrets of Newman University Ghosts” told by Rosemary Neidens on Friday evening.

The upcoming 2016 Gladiator Dash is officially a Newman University Athletics fundraising event, but because the date of the event lands on the All-Alumni Reunion weekend the Gladiator Dash will be tied into the All-Alumni Reunion events.

Friday, June 10 is especially exciting for the Newman community. Together with the Most Rev. Carl Kemme, Bishop of Wichita, the university will break ground for the new state-of-the-art science facility, the Bishop Gerber Science Center, named for the Most Rev. Eugene J. Gerber, Bishop Emeritus of Wichita. Our new science facility will be a lasting legacy of Bishop Gerber’s unparalleled support for Newman University.

Please join us! Mark your calendar for June 10-12, 2016. Enjoy camaraderie of old friends and make connections with new and “experienced” alumni.
