Brandon Droge, pitcher for our Newman Jets baseball team, was named National Collegiate Baseball Writer’s Association Division II National Pitcher of the Week officials announced last Wednesday. Droge (2-1) allowed just four hits, while striking out 13 Aggies in a complete-game shutout against Oklahoma Panhandle State on Friday.
