Newman University and Friends University will again join forces for this year’s spring Career Fair on Highway 54. The event will take place from 3:30 to 6:00 p.m. on Apr. 5, at the Casado Campus Center on the Friends University campus.
This is a great opportunity for employers to reach potential employees and interns, as well as for students and alumni to network and connect with employers. There are currently over 67 companies and organizations registered with the fair.
This year, Koch Industries will be on site to help improve your interview skills by conducting mock interviews.
Career Fair Tips:
- Bring several copies of your resume
- Dress professionally
- Practice your 15-second “elevator speech” – explain why you are the best fit for their company
- Be prepared to fill out applications
