Ghosts, goblins, and jack-o-lanterns — oh, my!

Newman University is inviting the public once again to its annual Trunk or Treat Carnival.

The event will take place from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 30, at the Wilkin’s Field parking lot.  It is hosted by Student Life and the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee.

Walk from trunk to trunk and gather sugary treats from different campus clubs, then creep into the carnival to play some spooky games.

Games will only cost you one ticket, which will be sold for $1 each or six for $5 at the ticket booth in the parking lot. Food will also be sold for those who get hungry.

This will be the second year for Trunk or Treat. Last year’s event was a big hit with many campus clubs participating and more than 100 community members dropping by. Each campus club decorated the trunk of a car and handed out candy to those in attendance. This year’s event will have the addition of the carnival games, which will be exciting for all ages.
