Newman University alumnus and Sedgwick County Commissioner Tim Norton will be honored as Humanitarian of the Year at a benefit event starting at 6:30 p.m., May 21 at the Abode Venue, 1330 E. Douglas in Wichita. The event, “An Evening of Note Celebrates One Man, One Community, One Beard,” will benefit the Donna E. Newman University officials have announced the students on the Dean’s List for the fall semester of 2012. To qualify for this achievement, a student must complete 12 credit hours and have attained a grade point average of 3.5 or better.
