Newman University Jets Baseball exhibition game vs. the Wichita Wingnuts has been postponed till May 6, 2009. Gates will open at 6:05 p.m. and the game will begin at 7:05 p.m.
Jets give Mark Potter win number 200

Newman University men’s basketball head coach Mark Potter recorded his 200th career victory after the Jets routed York College, 119-68 Saturday evening at Fugate Gymnasium. Potter is in just his 11th season and Newman is the only school at which he has coached collegiately.

On Saturday, Jan. 19 from 5 to 7 p.m., the Newman University Alumni Association will hold “Hoops and Soup” in the Tarcisia Roths, ASC Alumni Center. “It’s our version of a basketball game tailgate party,” said Ann Fox, director of alumni relations. “We wanted a way for fans to get involved in generating spirit between the women’s and men’s basketball games.” Read More…
