Basketball gets first ever berth to Division II NCAA Tournament

Congratulations to Newman University Men’s Basketball Team on receiving their first-ever berth into the NCAA Division II Tournament. The Jets will take on Midwestern State on March 16 at Metro State in Denver. Read more on the NU Athletics website.

Spring Break begins March 18

Newman University classes will close Monday, March 18 through Friday, March 22 for Spring Break. Campus offices will close at noon on Friday, March 22 for the break. Classes and offices will resume normal operating hours Monday, March 25.

Newman University to host Career Fair April 2

Newman University will host a Career Fair in early April that will provide opportunities for individuals to research career fields and available positions with various area companies. The Career Fair is April 2, from 3:30 – 6 p.m. and will feature several businesses that could provide new jobs for those in the job market. The Career Fair, which is free and open to the public, will be held in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center inside the Dugan Library and Campus Center on the Newman University campus. Read More…
