The Friday after Thanksgiving – the day many of us stand in line for hours in the cold to buy things the ads in the newspaper tell us to – is often called Black Friday. Coincidentally, this year’s Black Friday lands on this month’s Final Friday art crawl, which features the photography of Newman University senior Danielle Marie Wallace. Her Senior Show exhibition is titled “Polychromatic.”
While Danielle enjoys many different types of photography projects, her passion and focus stands out in her portrait work.
Before you spend three hours of your time waiting toe-to-toe with complete strangers, warm yourself up with drinks and hors d’oeuvres in the Hallway Gallery of the De Mattias Fine Arts Center Friday, Nov. 29 from 5 to 7 p.m. and enjoy the work of Danielle Marie Wallace.
