Amy Siple, MSN, FNP-BC, Associate professor of nursing at Newman University to speak on “Understanding Alzheimer’s.”

Amy Siple is an Associate Professor of Nursing at Newman University where she teaches Nursing Assessment, Pharmacology and Geriatrics. She is also responsible for providing the geriatric based lectures to nurse practitioner students at WSU.  As a part of the national Geriatric Nursing Education Consortium, Amy is very committed to disseminating information about care of the elderly and has traveled around the country providing numerous lectures on the pathology and care of clients of AD. In addition she maintains an active practice as a geriatric based NP in her work for Dr. Bryant at Wichita Medical Associates.
