Newman FAFSA priority deadline is March 1

Feb 24, 2015

Newman University encourages all students who have not filled out the FAFSA to do so as soon as possible as time is running out for need-based state funding. Newman’s priority consideration deadline is Sunday, March 1. Following March 1 some need-based state funding may be more limited. Students who file by March 1 will be among the first to receive financial aid award letters with their complete financial aid packages.

The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is used to determine eligibility to receive money to help pay for college from the federal government, state government, or colleges.

Individuals who will be filling out the FAFSA should plan to file their 2014 taxes before the deadline to guarantee they receive the most aid possible.
