Feb 26, 2010

NU’s Ted Anders, Ph.D. will speak on a new natural respiratory care product gaining ground in local and national medical practices.

Anders, assistant professor of education, will appear on KZSN 102.1 and KZCH 96.3 FM at 7:30 a.m., and on B98 FM and KEYN FM 107.3 at 8 a.m. He will discuss the Respigard, a product developed by a company Anders founded several years ago called Nature’s Nurse Companies. The Respigard is being used by an increasing number of health care providers for respiratory challenges of all types. Locally, Dr. Scott Carroll is using the product. Scott is the founder of the country’s largest privately held allergy and asthma practice. Newman pre-med student Jeff Cotter recently began an internship with Carroll as clinical observation studies coordinator for a Wichita test market Carroll is conducting to gather clinical data from clients using Respigard.
