Newman University and Wichita Adore Ministries to hold outdoor Adoration April 26

Apr 23, 2015

The Newman University community and members of the Wichita Adore Ministries will join together for an evening of Eucharistic Adoration and Prayer in front of the Newman Marian Grotto Sunday, April 26.

The night begins with Mass at 7 p.m. in St. John’s Chapel. Afterwards, Newman students, faculty, staff and friends, along with Wichita residents, are invited outside for Adoration and a time of prayer. Three priests will also be on hand to hear Confessions.

“Newman University has teamed with Wichita Adore Ministries in the past and the resulting event was fantastic,” said Newman Chaplain Fr. John Fogiliasso. “The powerful experience of praising and worshiping our Eucharistic Lord is only amplified by the incredible outdoor setting.

“The music for the evening will be provided by Wichita Adore Ministries, who are well known throughout the diocese for the great work they do. Topping off the experience is the opportunity to be reconciled with the Lord as priests will be hearing confessions throughout the hour. The students at Newman are excited to share our beautiful campus and invite anyone (YOU!) to attend this Outdoor Holy Hour!”
