Newman University hosts Transfer Information Night Feb. 18

Newman University will host a Transfer Information Night on Tuesday, Feb. 18 on the university campus. This event is for students from other colleges who want to learn more about Newman University. The event will start at 5:45 p.m. in the Alumni Welcome Center, on the 2nd floor of Dugan Library.

Transfer Night takes place during Cardinal Newman Week – a week of events celebrating the life and work of Blessed John Henry Cardinal Newman – and will begin two hours after the Cardinal Newman Lecture from Kevin Godfrey. The lecture will be at 4 p.m. in the Dugan-Gorges Conference Center, on the first floor of Dugan Library.

The events for Transfer Information Night are as follows:
5:45 p.m. – Check in
6 p.m. – Prayer from Newman Director of Transfer Student Orientation and Retention JoAnn Mark, ASC
6:05 p.m. – Food /entertainment from the Sloppy Joes (Newman Theatre Improv Group)
6:20 p.m. – Associate Professor of History Kelly McFall – Honors Program
6:35 p.m. – Financial Aid
7:05 p.m. – Faculty Advisor Session
