Newman University nursing graduates rank high in exam scores, employment

Newman University is known for the high quality of its academic programs in nursing and the health sciences. Over the past five years, the pass rate for Newman University nursing graduates taking the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) has ranged from 95 percent to 98 percent – well above state and national averages for the same time period.

In addition, of the 22 nursing students who completed the program in December 2013, all had a job secured before graduation.

Candidates are being interviewed now for summer and fall 2014 entrance into the nursing program. Interested students should talk with their advisor or contact the School of Nursing before remaining spots are filled at 316-942-4291, ext. 2134.
