Newman recently received a check for $4,445 to be used for student scholarships from the Newman University Hockey Jersey Night with the Wichita Thunder that took place last March.Jerseys with Newman logos and worn by the Wichita Thunder as they played the Odessa Jackalopes that night were auctioned off to raise money for Newman student scholarships.
