Newman University Recognizes Employees’ Service

Professor of Biology Surendra Singh, Ph.D., and Accounts Receivable Clerk Gail Gettman were among those honored at the annual Newman University employee service awards program Aug. 18. Singh was honored for his 40 years at Newman, while Gettman was honored for her 25 years. The program celebrates long-term commitment to Newman by faculty and staff with five or more years of service, at five-year milestones.
This year’s awards were for individuals who reached their milestone between the dates of Sept. 1, 2008 and Aug. 31, 2009. The full list of the honorees is:
