Newman University alums Joseph Baalmann, Jeff Cotter and Isaac Johnston are three of the four medical students featured in the April 30 newsletter of the University of Kansas School of Medicine-Wichita. The three students, all 2010 graduates of Newman, are highlighted for their impromptu performances on a baby grand piano that sits in the school’s west atrium.
Baalmann, Cotter and Johnston, along with classmate Roger Klein, play during breaks between classes, often drawing appreciative crowds. All of the fourth-year medical students will graduate in May. Read the full story here.
