Six retiring faculty and staff members honored at Academic Awards Convocation

Five members of the Newman University faculty and one staff member who are retiring this spring were recognized at the Academic Honors and Awards Convocation April 23.

The faculty and staff members are:

John Conlee, J.D., Associate Professor of Paralegal Studies
Joe Forte, M.L.S., Library Director
Professor of Psychology Charles Merrifield, Ph.D.
Joan Purkey Pippitt, M.E., Associate Professor of Education
Duncan Rose, Ed.D., Associate Professor of Counseling
Professor of Biology Surendra Singh, Ph.D.

Collectively, this group has given 152 years of service to Newman University and its students. Their dedication and commitment to student success is greatly appreciated.
