Beginning tonight at 7:30 p.m. Newman Jets men’s soccer will be taking on Texas A&M International. The team will also compete against the University of Saint Mary at 2:30 p.m. on Oct. 20. Both games will be held on Wilkins Field on the Newman campus.
Newman will give free admission to any YMCA child with a voucher for the NU games. Adult tickets are $6.

Newman University is in the final phase of completing a new university mascot and has launched a contest to give the mascot a fitting name. The contest, which will award the winner a new IPad, is open to everyone in the Wichita community and will end Sept. 19. The new mascot will make its first appearance Sept. 27 at halftime of the women’s soccer match on Wilkins Field on the Newman campus.
