Three businesses with ties to Newman receive honors

Foley Equipment, Star Lumber and Dondlinger Construction have received honors from the Wichita Business Journal by being selected for its first Family Business Awards.

All three family businesses in Wichita, Kan., have ties to Newman University. Tom ’72, Nick ’73 and Ray ’05 Dondlinger are alumni, and Foley Equipment and Star Lumber have generously donated to several university programs.

Foley Equipment won the 2015 Best in Business award from the Wichita Business Journal earlier this year.
