Western Kansas alumni of science and health science programs to meet Jan. 25

Newman University alumni with degrees in the sciences, nursing and allied health programs who live in the southwestern part of Kansas are invited to celebrations of the 80th anniversary of the founding of Newman University and the beginning of science academic programs at Newman.

Alumni, colleagues and friends are invited to socialize and meet Newman University President Noreen Carrocci, Ph.D. and Associate Professor of Nursing Jane Weilert, Ed.D.  at celebrations in both Dodge City and Garden City. Alumni in Liberal are invited to join with friends at either the Dodge City or Garden City event. The receptions will be held:

Dodge City
10 a.m. – noon
St. Augustine Room, Cathedral -Our Lady of Guadalupe
3231 N. 14th Avenue

Garden City
2:30 – 4:30 pm
Classroom B (lower level) of St. Catherine Medical Center
401 E. Spruce Street
(Enter Main Entrance, go to lower level, Classroom B is near the coffee shop)

The events will feature refreshments, short presentations by Dr. Carrocci and Dr. Weilert, a Q&A period and socializing.
