Join 120 of your favorite (or soon to be) fellow alumni from Pennsylvania, Iowa, New York City, Kansas City and other locations for the “Celebrating 80 Years of Science Education” event April 12 at Newman University. Can’t be here? Join us via a short written reflection to honor Professor of Biology Surendra Singh, Ph.D., who is retiring this spring after 45 years of teaching at Newman, and Sisters Margaret Knoeber, ASC (chemistry) and JoAnn Mark, ASC (mathematics). Send your memories/stories to Sister Therese Wetta, ASC at [email protected] no later than April 7.
The event will take place from 4 to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 12, on the Newman campus (meet at the Mabee Dining Center parking lot), and will include a program and reception. If you would like to tour campus or visit with the honorees before the event, come to the Gorges Library foyer between 1:30 and 3:30 p.m.
