Newman University’s largest athletics fundraiser of the year is back for its 42nd year.
Supporters will once again have multiple ways to get involved — whether they hit the golf course or participate from home.
The 42nd Annual Jet Open Charity Golf Tournament will take place Monday, Aug. 3, at Rolling Hills Country Club. All proceeds from the event benefit student-athletes of Newman University.
This day will feature a single tee time, on-course cash games, raffles and an online auction. The online auction opens 9 a.m. Monday, July 27 and remains live until 7 p.m. Aug. 3. Bidding is open to the public, and participants don’t need to register a golf team or attend the event in person to place bids.
The Jet Open also offers several sponsorship packages: Gold ($5,000 for eight players), Diamond ($3,000 for four players) and Silver ($1,750 for four players). Each receives golfer gift packages and promotional recognition throughout the event.
