The Student Life Department at Newman University invites you to the presentation “Blogs from the Holy Land” at 5:30 p.m. March 14 in the Tarcisia Roths ASC Alumni Center. The presentation will be given by Newman President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D. where she will discuss her recent visit to Israel.
Carrocci was among a dozen Midwest university presidents who were invited on a week-long trip to Israel last fall by the Consulate General of Israel to learn about Israeli life, culture, and higher education. During her visit, the president posted a blog describing her experiences as she visited universities and research institutes, the Center for Holocaust Research and Education, the “old city” of Jerusalem, the Sea of Galilee and other sites in the Holy Land. The presentation is based on her blogs during the trip.
This event is free and open to the public, and snacks will be provided.
