The Newman University will host the 13th Annual Silent Auction on April 13 staged by Staff Assembly. The auction will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Macias Gathering Space of the Dugan Library. The proceeds benefit the Staff Assembly Hearts & Hands fund. This fund was established to provide a monetary gift to staff members who may be in crisis or experiencing some particular difficulty in their lives.
Funds raised above the amount required to replenish the Hearts & Hands fund will go to WIN (Wichita Women’s Initiative Network, Inc.) WIN is help and hope for survivors of domestic violence. WIN, an organization sponsored by the Adorers of the Blood of Christ (ASC) provides support for and teaches social, educational, and general life skills to victims of domestic abuse.
