The week of Jan. 19 through 25 will be the 15th annual National Nurse Anesthetists Week.
Nurse anesthetists administer approximately 33 million anesthetics in the United States each year. They provide anesthesia in every setting in which anesthesia is administered, including hospital operating and delivery rooms, ambulatory surgical centers, pain management centers, public health services and many other medical facilities.
Newman University is proud to offer a Master of Science in Nurse Anesthesia degree program. Graduates of the program in 2012 and 2013 boasted a 100 percent pass rate on the nurse anesthesia licensure exams. Graduates of the program have had an overall pass rate of 99 percent since the program was launched in 2001.
