Diseases like measles, mumps and others had virtually been wiped out in America years ago, so why are we hearing about them in the media so much in 2015?
Vaccination is the topic for the HealthPulse lunch and lecture starting at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 14, at the Newman University Dugan-Gorges Conference Center.
Pediatric Residency Program Director at KU School of Medicine-Wichita Robert Wittler, M.D., will deliver the presentation “Vaccinations: Who? When? Why?”
HealthPulse lectures are open to the public. Faculty, staff, students and friends of Newman are extended a special invitation to attend.
Registration is required: $5 includes lunch. Register here: http://wichita.kumc.edu/healthpulse.html
