Among the highlights of the 2015 Fall Institute on Monday, Aug. 17 was the bestowal of the annual service awards to faculty and staff.
Director of Mission Effectiveness and Archives Charlotte Rohrbach, ASC, Ph.D., was recognized for her long-term commitment to Newman University of 35 years. In her three and a half decades at Newman, Rohrbach has served in many capacities, including history professor, academic dean, alumni director, campus ministry director, service learning director, study abroad director, chief operating officer and interm president. Rohrbach received a standing ovation from her co-workers as she came to the podium to accept her award.
Also recognized for their 25 years of service to Newman were Director of On-Line Curriculum and Instructional Technology Sandra Hambrick, Associate Director for Admissions Processing Linda Sabala, M.S.Ed., and Transcript Analyst Bonnie Setzkorn.
