A Christmas tree lighting and party will be held 5-7 p.m Sunday, Dec. 6 on Founder’s Plaza on the Newman campus.
The Christmas party will be hosted by the Student Alumni Board and the Alumni Board of Directors. The highlight of the party will be a Christmas tree lighting. Hot cocoa with holiday treats will be provided, and activities will include a sleigh ride through campus and a visit with Santa for the kids. The Newman community will be singing Christmas carols throughout the party, and attendees are welcome to join in singing with the carolers. Attendees are also encouraged to dress festively for photo opportunities with Santa and the Christmas tree.
After the party, Mass will be held at 7 p.m. in St. John’s Chapel. All are welcome to attend.
