The Newman campus is currently open following the Christmas break. Spring 2011 semester classes begin Jan. 18, and there is still time to enroll. The last day to add or drop first 8-week classes is Jan. 21. The deadline for late registration for semester classes is Jan. 24. Additional fees apply for enrollment in semester classes on this date.
Below are some Newman services and hours available before spring semester classes begin.
Library Hours
The Library is closed nights and weekends between semesters. It is open weekdays from 8 a.m to 5 p.m.
Bookstore Hours
The NU Bookstore hours before classes begin on Jan. 18 are Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The bookstore will also open on Saturday, Jan. 15, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. It will be closed Sunday and Monday, Jan. 16 and 17. Regular hours will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
Campus Visit
The Newman Admissions Office is open 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday. If you are thinking about attending Newman or know someone who is, schedule a campus visit here. Campus visits are offered Monday through Friday and on Saturday by appointment. Please give at least one week notice for scheduling an individual campus visit.
