Newman University raised $159 for “Don Your Denims for Kyle Day,” a city-wide jeans day on July 31 to help raise money for the Children’s Organ Transplant Association on behalf of Kyle Hicks. Approximately 53 participants donated at least $3 to wear their jeans for the 17-year-old Wichita boy who suffers from a severe skin disease. On Aug. 6 Wichita had raised $11,263 and was still counting donations from the mail!
