Newman University’s largest athletics fundraiser of the year is back for its 41st installment.
Supporters will once again have multiple ways to get involved — whether they hit the golf course or participate from home.
The 41st Annual Jet Open Charity Golf Tournament will take place Monday, Aug. 4, at Rolling Hills Country Club. All proceeds from the event benefit the Newman University athletics department.

The celebration kicks off with the Jet Open online silent auction, which opened July 28, and remains live until 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4. Bidding is open to the public, and participants don’t need to register a golf team or attend the event in person to place bids. This year’s auction features a wide variety of items, including everything from fitness, sports and entertainment to family fun and Wichita-area experiences.

The four-person scramble tournament will offer two tee times on Aug. 4, with registration at 6:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m., and shotgun starts at 7:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m. Lunch will be served from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., and entry includes tournament play, driving range access, a golf cart, food and beverages on the course and access to prize contests.
The Jet Open also offers several sponsorship packages, including Gold ($5,000), Diamond ($3,000) and Silver ($1,750) levels. Each includes a team of four golfers and promotional recognition throughout the event.
