Newman University held its annual Spring Institute on January 13, 2026, an event designed to celebrate, communicate and honor the Newman community.
The morning session featured updates on academics, enrollment, strategic planning, AI initiatives and campus operations, but the highlight of the day was a luncheon recognizing Newman community members who reached service milestones in 2025. The biggest salute went to Christine Werth, associate registrar, and Mark Graber, network systems administrator, who each completed 30 years of service to the university.

In all, 16 employees were honored for their dedication to Newman, representing a combined 205 years of service.
