Newman University students will take to the phones beginning Feb. 7 for the annual Newman Fund Phonathon. The campaign will run each Monday through Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m., through March 17. Students will call alumni and ask that they make a gift to the Fund, which assists Newman students in the form of scholarships. The goal for this year’s campaign is $15,000.
“Alumni participation is so important,” said Director of Alumni Relations Ann Fox. “A gift at any level helps boost our alumni giving rates, which are considered by foundations and other organizations when Newman makes grant applications and seeks other forms of major support.”
