Apr 02, 2015

Newman University will present “McNeill’s Life and Legacy: In Retrospect,” the final lecture of the 2014-15 series of “Mission Talks,” from noon to 1 p.m., April 7, in the Tarcisia Roths, ASC Alumni Center, inside the Dugan Library and Campus Center on the Newman campus.

The event is free and open to the public. Lunch will be provided for the first 40 people who RSVP to Charlotte Rohrbach, ASC at [email protected] or 316-942-4291, ext. 2167 no later than noon Monday, April 6.

McNeill, the first president of what is today Newman University, has been the subject of both last year’s and this year’s Mission Talks series at Newman. Each talk has focused on a period of McNeill’s journey, starting with his early days as a priest and educator. The April 7 talk will provide a summary of McNeill’s life. It is the last of the eight Mission Talks on Monsignor McNeill and the last Mission Talk for the 2014-15 year.
