Newman University invites all its alumni to return to campus for a weekend packed with athletics events and competitive fun from Friday, Oct. 20, through Sunday, Oct. 22.
The weekend features thrilling events alumni can participate in like golf, batting practice, a basketball game and even trivia. Attendees will also have the opportunity to support student-athletes as they take on competitors during home games in soccer, bowling and volleyball.
For Director of Athletics Joanna Pryor, seeing Newman alumni return to campus to support current student-athletes “is truly one of the favorite parts of the job.”
Pryor and Director of Alumni Relations Dana Beitey hope the weekend creates a renewed or continued sense of belonging to the university, “connecting with old teammates and making new connections across the ages,” Pryor said.
