Newman University Athletics will host an athletics alumni weekend Oct. 4-6.
The weekend will provide an opportunity for athletics alumni and friends to reconnect and relive memories.
The event includes cheering on the Jets at home games, food and drinks, social activities and campus tours. Athletics alumni will also be recognized during the Oct. 5 volleyball game in the Fugate Gymnasium.
Associate Athletic Director Maureen “Mo” Rohleder said, “We are attempting to get athletic alumni more involved and engaged at Newman — from all sports from all years. Hopefully, they will rekindle good memories and start or continue to build relationships.”
The event will also be kid-friendly with games available to play during lunch and tours.
