The All-Alumni Reunion weekend is almost here and everyone who is part of the Newman University community is invited. On the weekend of June 10-12, Newman will host special events including what will be a monumental time in the history of the university—the groundbreaking for the Bishop Gerber Science Center.

The Most Rev. Carl Kemme, Bishop of the Diocese of Wichita, will take part in the groundbreaking event for the new state-of-the-art science facility, the Bishop Gerber Science Center, named for the Most Rev. Eugene J. Gerber, Bishop Emeritus of the Diocese of Wichita. The new science facility will be a lasting legacy of Bishop Gerber’s unparalleled support for Newman University.

Those participating in the weekend-long festivities will enjoy a unique selection of events and programs including special tours, meals and engaging talks from current and former Newman University faculty. With events like the beer tasting, Newman-style TED talks, art galleries and dancing, there are plenty of events for every interest. A favorite event is sure to be “Secrets of Newman University Ghosts” told by Rosemary Neidens on Friday evening.

The upcoming 2016 Gladiator Dash is officially a Newman University Athletics fundraising event, but because the date of the event lands on this special weekend, the Gladiator Dash will be tied into the All-Alumni Reunion events.

Please join us! Enjoy camaraderie of old friends and make connections with new and “experienced” alumni.
