Girls in grades K-6 are invited to help the Newman University Cheer Squad root for the Jets through “Little Cheer.” Little Cheer will include a day camp, a practice and a performance in which the Newman Squad will teach participants games, cheers and a dance.
The day camp will be Saturday, Feb. 23 from 9:45 a.m. – 4 p.m. Practice will be Friday, Feb. 29, and the performance will be March 1 at the Newman Jets basketball games. Details to be communicated later. Participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt to wear during the performance, free admission to the game and a half-price ticket for a family member. (Three dollars must be paid in advance by Saturday, Feb. 23.)
In addition to filling out the form below, particpants must pay $20 to the President’s Office in Sacred Heart Hall by Feb. 14 or send it through inter-campus mail. Newman’s address is 3100 McCormick, Wichita, KS 67213. Make sure to bring your sack lunch and tennis shoes on Saturday!
