All these former professors – as well as current faculty members David Shubert, Ph.D. and John Leyba, Ph.D. – will be on hand Saturday, Feb. 8 in the Heimerman Science Center at a special event for chemistry and other science alumni. Faculty will be available to reminisce with alums about class-time memories, celebrate professional achievements, and catch up on the latest news.
Other alumni and former faculty from biology and mathematics, as well as Newman President Noreen M. Carrocci, Ph.D., will also be present to celebrate science education at Newman University. The president will make a presentation at 6 p.m.
The event begins at 5 p.m., and includes free refreshments and prized keepsakes for alums.
