The Newman University Music Department will present its annual Christmas concert at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 3, in the performance hall inside the De Mattias Fine Arts Center.
Joining the Newman University Chorale and Troubadours will be the Pratt Skyline High School concert choir.
Drew Entz, a bass, said he is looking forward to surprising the audience with “The Nightmare Before Christmas” medley, a piece with a different take on Christmas.
Cera St. Amand, an alto, said she is looking forward to seeing the smiles on people’s faces as they hear beloved Christmas songs and discover new favorites.
The cost for this special event is $10 for adults and $5 for students (college age and below). The concert is free for NU students with ID. Tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at the door. The box office will open at 2:15 p.m. and doors open at approximately 2:30 p.m.
