A new MBA program offered by Newman University will launch in Colorado Springs, Colo., for MSW students and alumni on Monday, March 13, 2017.
The online program will focus on providing the same high-quality MBA degree curricula that has traditionally been taught on the Newman campus for many years, according to Dean of School of Business Brett Andrews, Ph.D.
Andrews joined the Newman community in spring 2016.
Applications are coming in, but recruitment is ongoing. Andrews will travel from Wichita to Colorado Springs during the first week of February for an informational meeting with current MSW students and alumni who might be interested in joining the new program. Andrews said he is expecting a large crowd.
“My goals for this program are the same as they are for the campus-based MBA program,” said Andrews. “That our graduate students would be equipped with knowledge, skills, and abilities that enable them to solve business problems at an executive level.”
