The Newman University Criminal Justice Club, also known as The Justice League, is collecting items for underprivileged students and families in the USD 259 school district. The club will be taking donations through March 14.
Green and blue boxes have been placed in various spots around campus including Eck Hall, Sacred Heart Hall, the De Mattias Fine Arts Center and the Dugan Library and Conference Center for donation drop off.
The Justice League is requesting the following items:
- School supplies
- Hats and mittens for children and adults
- Socks and underwear for children and adults
- Hygiene items; including but not limited to:
- Brushes
- Toothbrushes
- Toothpaste
- Lotion
- Soap
- Shampoo
- Feminine products
- African American hair products
- Deodorant and body spray
