Darin Spence was recently named the Head Women’s Basketball Coach at Newman University. He comes to Newman after a one-year stint at Barton County Community College. Spence, prior to Barton, coached for New Mexico State University and obtained 109 wins in just eight years and is currently the second-winningest head coach in NMSU women’s basketball history. He was introduced to the Newman University community and the Wichita media in a press conference held on April 20.
