Episode One of Fr. Barron documentary The Catholicism Project to premiere at Newman May 25

The Diocese of Wichita Office of Religious Education and Newman University will host a special presentation of Episode One of The Catholicism Project, a 10-part high-definition epic documentary by Father Robert Barron illustrating the beauty of the global Church. The presentation begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 25, in the Newman University De Mattias Fine Arts Center.
While the event is free, reservations are required and may be made at www.catholicscreenings.com. Deadline for reservations is May 21. Good will donations will be accepted to help pay for evening’s refreshments.
Fr. Barron is an acclaimed author, theologian, and podcasting priest from Chicago. He is considered by some to be one of the world’s great and most innovative teachers of Catholic faith. The Catholicism Project is a 10-part epic documentary that will take viewers across the world and deep into the Catholic faith as they discover the rich heritage of the Catholic Church.
