Art for Lunch in Steckline Gallery – Ashley Streid

Students can enjoy a free pizza lunch while listening as artist Ashley Streid discusses her “Kansas: In Living Color” exhibition in the Steckline Gallery.
Streid’s artwork is a reflection of her journey through self-discovery with themes of resilience, growth, and finding beauty within the seemingly ordinary. Every photo challenges viewers to think of Kansas as more than a “quaint flyover state to a sprawling canvas transformed by mother nature’s masterful brush.”
The “Kansas: In Living Color” exhibition will be on display Dec. 5, 2024 – Jan. 31, 2025.
