Join us for a First Friday reception for artist Anthony Corraro discusses his work, “To Dust” during this month’s exhibition in the Steckline Gallery.
“To Dust” is a print exhibition that explores how the simple act of cleaning can be restorative and comforting. Using dust collected from sweeping his home and studio space, Corraro showcases dust as both inevitable and “beautifully fragile.”
Nothing is used to adhere the dust to the surface of each print, which encourages an intimate experience between the art and its viewers. Corraro highlights the connection between “how we alter both our environments and our perception of them.”
The “To Dust” exhibition will be on display March 6-28.
