Guest Speaker – Dr. Andrew Seeley – The Lord of the Rings as Cultural Epic

The Gerber Institute for Catholic Studies will proudly host Dr. Andrew Seeley, Executive Director of the Institute for Catholic Liberal Education (ICLE) on campus the evening of Friday, January 27th. Dr. Seeley will introduce us to J.R.R. Tolkien’s wondrous opus, making the case that “The Great Tales Never End” and sharing his thoughts on what Lord of the Rings can teach us about the liberal arts.
We invite the Newman community to join us for Dr. Seeley’s presentation in the Dugan Conference Center from 7:00-9:00 PM. No RSVP necessary! Bring a friend and enjoy an evening of Tolkien appreciation!
